Kylie Jenner is a reality tv star on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She also has her own business called Kylie Cosmetics, which is a makeup brand she launched in 2016. Kylie has a huge following on all her social media accounts, where she often displays her makeup products. She went from reality tv star to makeup queen. Kylie definitely knows how to run her own business and please her fans.

Strengths:

Kylie has many followers across her social media accounts. On Instagram alone, she has over 200 million followers. On this platform, she sticks to showing off her makeup skills, outfits, vacations, and her daughter Stormi. She communicates with her followers and always delivers on what her fans want. She even has a separate Instagram account for her makeup line. On this account, she has over 25 million followers. Her name and recognition help her brand grow and succeed. She always posts sneak peeks of her upcoming makeup lines and shows what her products look like on herself. Her fans love to see how she does her makeup and her routines. Her business continues to expand and release new products. She first only started out with lip kit products, then kept adding new products. She has multiple shade options for every product and offers bundles. Another strength that many customers are pleased with is that she offers vegan-free products and that none of her products are tested on animals.

Weaknesses:

Kylie is very focused on her brand and sometimes is tone-deaf to the outside world. When there is a movement or natural disaster, she doesn't speak up and continues to post about her beauty line. This can be dangerous to her brand because she can lose followers and customers. She also released a line that had a money theme and soon received much criticism for this. This collection was for her 22nd birthday. Fans were outraged that Kylie was flaunting her wealth and showing off being a billionaire.

Threats:

The makeup industry is very big and competitive. Every brand wants its product to be the best. There are many celebrities that have started their own makeup line. Kylie’s own sister, Kim Kardashian has her own brand called KKW. KimShe has a lot of competition with other popular brands having lower prices than hers.

Opportunities:

Kylie Cosmetics has many opportunities. To increase her brand, she can do more makeup tutorials with celebrities and other beauty brand owners. Makeup lovers who don’t know of Kylie Cosmetics but watch other celebrities do makeup tutorials can learn of her brand if she does a collab. She combined her line and her sister’s and did a limited collection. If she reaches out to other famous makeup brands, she can expand her clientele. Her products aren’t the most affordable, making her makeup cheaper or having bigger sales will drive in more customers.
